    • Another collection of stories that I've read - but ages ago and October is a good time for a reread. Another great purchase from a used bookstore. Most of these stories are often used in other anthologies, but there are only a few I'll skip or skim. (Like The Monkey's Paw - I really think I've read that enough in my lifetime at this point.     • This is a good collection of the older classics and more modern ghost stories available at the end of the 1970's. I picked this up from a free bookshop and I'm glad I did.I always like reading ghost and horror stories around this time of year due to the nights drawing in early and being able to be warm in bed or by a fire when it's cold outside.There is a real mixture here and I think I enjoyed the classics more than the more modern tales but none the less all were solidly written, although some [...]
