    • I read this book when I was in grade school and remember how much I enjoyed it. Throughout the last couple years I've thought about this book, but could never remember the name. Just recently I was going through my parent's basement and found a box of my old books. This one happened to be in it. I was excited to find it, because now I can give it to my daughter when she's old enough. It'll be so great to see her reading it.


    • This book literally scared the shizznuts out of me. The main character and I are both African American females. Just like me, she enjoys the performing arts and at the time I was reading this book I was in Californiajust like she was. Our personalities are soo alike this story was scary just reading it





    • This is a book I liked but I would not say it was my favorite. I was interested in the book because i was interested in the performing arts part of the book. I liked how the book had a little romance in it. I feel like I could not really relate to the book. The thing I really look for in a book is if I can relate. Personally I couldn't relate to Violet. To me personally the book was not one of my favorites. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else who is looking for a boon that can relate to them [...]
