    • I enjoyed Irin and the first of R. Lee Walsh I've read. The story follows Riley, and Peach, both of them are Irins. Starts off with Riley and Rachel really starts this novel off good. She throws you into a very bad place, and show immediatly Riley's personality. It is packed with action and think she really wrote it well. It was easy to follow, and although Riley is a hard core character I did connect with him. Then comes Peach, a character with a very complexed life. The story moves with every d [...]

    • A very well written introduction to the Last Scribe Prequels. The Irin is a race of immortal beings living amongst the humans unnoticed. They also have to abide by certain rules. Some of which have been broken but instead of being a threat could turn to an advantage by whatever danger looms in the near future. This novella is a good introduction and indication of what's to come. It definitely left me wanting for more.

    • Love the cover. Love the Irins.A differentq an unique paranormal slash immortal story you dont want to miss.Ms. Walsh has a talent for writing and I love Reily's Judge Dredd complex and Peach trying to fit in behind the bar. But in reality they are kick ass characters and Irin is a story you dont want to miss

    • Great story and concept. The Irin are an old race as are their enemies the Sheva. Peach is an Irin and waiting along with others for the emergence of a special girl. Riley is also Irin but a bit of a rogue who also has contact with the Sheva/\. Yuri is the leader and he is waiting to get the special girl as this adventure begins. Great read that has a lot of possibilities to be an amazing series.

    • I received a copy of this story in exchange for a honest review. This short story was jammed packed full of action. The main characters are a race of immortal super beings who have special abilities. By the end of the story I was hooked and was wanting more. Promising start of a new series!

    • I guess this is the first in what will be a lengthy series of books. The writing is competent, but, after a good start, goes pretty dull and uneventful as it feeds in background slowly and tries to foreshadow things to come. I am not inspired to continue with this line.

    • This novella is packed with action and fantastic characters. This was one of those "impulse" selections, based solely on the cover. I didn't think I'd be hooked into the entire series, but I can't wait to read more.

    • EnjoyableI enjoyed the mixture of fantasy and realism. I truly wish the author wrote more to the storyline without having to look for the next book to continue
