    • D'aww That was great. Very sweet, no deliciously dirty bits and I barely noticed. Perfect pacing for a short story which I'm sure is no easy task. It was just all warm and fuzzy and it made me happy.Plus, I want Grandma to be my Grandma. And I want to be this Grandma when I am one (many, many moons from now).

    • It's 'okay' it isn't awful, just meh. It's all tell and for such a short story there's so much attention to side characters they overshadowed the main ones. There's not enough of them for me to care about the outcome, no sense of their personalities so nothing had any special importance; the big proposal scene was a complete anti-climax. Two nice enough boys who work at the same place go to a family dinner and get engaged - the end.

    • Huggable. Funny, sweet and pretty darn adorable.Favorite quote and how to handle any situation with aplomb: “Oh, don’t mind me,” Grammy drawled, sipping her mimosa. “I always enjoy a good shitshow in the morning.”

    • This is a very, very cute short story about two DJs who are madly in love with each other. Eddy is more flamboyant and fights for their rights, while Liam is more quiet but very supportive. There's a touch of angst, a pinch of family drama when they go to Liam's grandmother's birthday, a slight twist, and a very happy ending. If you like sweet romances, if you enjoy humor in your stories and if you're looking for a read that combines both, then you will probably like this free short story.

    • LHNB Story released 10.8.133.5 stars rounded up.Short and sweet story of Liam and Eddy, two DJ's at the wonderfully titled WTFM radio station, who have been together for a number of years dealing with crazy schedules and balancing work and home life. Before going to his grammy's birthday celebration, Liam, who narrates, finds himself looking at wedding rings and wondering why Eddy hasn't asked him to marry him since it became legal. Grammy is a scream.

    • I really enjoyed this sweet and funny story, the characters and the romance. I would love to read more about these two. Nice interpretation of the photo and the story letter. Thank you J. Rocci for donating your story, your time and your talent.

    • Loved this! So sweet, I really liked Eddy and Liam! And I enjoyed all the other characters too, especially Grandma. I love established couple stories, so glad to read a bunch of them for this event. Thanks for a great story!

    • I love book with loving family, this had one and a very loving couple so I was hooked and wanted it to be bigger.Fun filled read.

    • Cute read about a couple who have been together for a long time and who are thinking about marriage. I loved the fact that they've been together for so long and they know each other so well.

    • 3.5 stars - This was a nice story about an established couple, very cute! I loved Eddy and Liam. Their story was super sweet, fluffy and totally adorable.

    • What exactly was the point of this? It was cute and sweet but there was little else. A couple of laughs and a lot of telling, nothing more.

    • Lovely, cute, adorable, funny granny, jobs that I don't understand (I'm not the club type.) I loved the ring choice though.

    • I enjoyed this story quite a bit. It was sweet and well written and I loved the MCs and the family. Granny was a hoot. I really liked that there were people of varying cultures not just the token black person. But I was frustrated with the stereotyped angry big guy and the anxious and flamboyant little guy, especially since none of that came out. It didn't need to be pointed out. I wanted a little morea little more angst, conflict, what happened with the father, but it was enjoyable and fun to r [...]

    • I'm not really fond of reading established couples stories. While I read this one, I wondered if it would go anywhere interesting. It did. There's no real highs or lows but there's a warmth and gentleness to the storytelling. This has a slice of life feel, where the reader just drops in for a visit to see how the couple is doing. Then, at the end, a really warm and fuzzy moment. A sweet story indeed.

    • Sweet proposal. :-D[NOTE: I rate most writing event stories (free reads) 4 or 5 stars because of my appreciation of the author's participation.]
