    About “Doris O'Connor

    • Doris O'Connor

Glutton for punishment would be a good description for Doris at least that s what she hears on an almost daily basis when people find out that she has a brood of nine children, ranging from adult to toddler and lives happily in a far too small house, cluttered with children, pets, dust bunnies, and one very understanding and supportive husband Domestic goddess she is not. There is always something better to do after all, like working on the latest manuscript and trying not to scare the locals even than usual by talking out loud to the voices in her head Her characters tend to be pretty insistent to get their stories told, and you will find Doris burning the midnight oil on a regular basis Only time to get any peace and quiet and besides, sleep is for wimps. She likes to spin sensual, sassy, and sexy tales involving alpha heroes to die for, and heroines who give as good as they get From contemporary to paranormal, BDSM to F F, and M nage, haunting love stories are guaranteed.

    • Doris O'Connor, where have you been hiding!?! New to us author, Doris O'Connor, has earned instant auto-buy status with this reviewer. Billing herself as an author of "sensual, sassy, sexy romances" is about as spot on as a person can get with this description.Staying within the tight knit, slightly wacky but infinitely lovable Giovanni clan, this second in the series spins the emotionally provoking story of a very heart-broken single father and the nanny he blackmails into marrying him in an at [...]

    • I read a review about the 3rd book in this series and had to have them all. I read the first one and reviewed it here as well (see Review: Too Hot to Handle by Doris O’Connor that was published on 2/5). I am really loving this author and her tortured heroes and heroines. She is quickly moving up on my favorite author list. Each book is better. This book was filled with emotional angst, heartache and most of all love. It’s a gorgeous thing to watch this couple go through all the trials and tr [...]

    • Too Cold To Love is smokin' hot with elements of BDSM and a very alpha male. We continue following the men in the Giocanni Clan with this story we get to see what happens when an evil ex-wife gets in the way, when a alpha male father is protecting his daughter and what happens when that very stubborn alpha male thinks he has been played for a fool. We also get enough sexy, hot and erotic scenes that you will need to take a cold shower. Ms. O'Conner does a fabulous job in keeping a great story wh [...]

    • lovebooksblogbooksMs O'Connor can do no wrong with these very sexy Italians that play in her mind!Too Cold to Love is the second book in the Giovanni Clan series, and is jsut a good as the first book, Too Hot To Handle. I loved the story of Marco and Elise. At first a very love/hate relationship. One minute they're biting each others heads off, the next they're donig some very questionable things with tinned fruit (read it and you'll never look at a pineapple in the same way again!!)!Marco is a [...]

    • Marco and Elise. Elise's twin sister Jemma takes a job as a nanny using Elise's name. Then she contacts Elise and basically throws her to the wolves (or wolf in this case aka Marco). Anyhoo, pretty harlequin style story. Bad twin leaves good twin in a heap of trouble. Marco suddenly finds he wants his daughter's nanny and he needs a temp wife to help him win sole custody of his daughter, so he turns the screws so that she agrees. There's a lot of back and forth hot and cold (too much really) and [...]

    • Please see my full review coming soon at nocturnereadsThe saving grace of their relationship is the sex, which is really hot. The story sucks you in from the first page and holds your attention until you stay up until the wee hours of the morning to finish.I was expecting something else, which is my fault, but still a letdown because I didn’t look at the genre before reading. Having read a couple of Ms. O’Connor’s other books, the title, the word “clan” and the promise of secrets had m [...]

    • The main story was nice, sex scenes were decently described.Main female character was with so strange reaction to all what happened around her I was confused a lot what is in her head/example after their wedding he got accused and slapped for not using protection - hello he wasn't alone in the bed/.And her constant dependency on her nonstop doing chaos sister/like personalizing her on her work/ was off the chart.Male was typical Italian described and more mature and normal reactions.

    • I am really enjoying this series but I have to say that the hero in this one had some moments of being a bit too childish in his anger and hurt. It was a little difficult to get through some of his reasoning for shutting the world off; though I can understand where the author was taking us through his healing process, it just seemed a bit too harsh on the heroine at time. Overall a good read with some smokin' make-up lovin' that was sure to keep me coming back for more.

    • Wow, I loved it. It was intense and passionate, with characters I completely fell in love with. Although there were parts where I wanted to smack Marco, there were plenty more where I wanted to crawl into bed with him. Elise was a lovely heroine and I rooted for her the whole time. It's sad to see these characters go, but I can't wait to start the next book in this series. I really hope there are more books like this. Doris! Write more!

    • Nothing cold about this :-) Loved the first book in the series so was looking forward to getting back to the hot Italians! I wasn't disappointed, another hot read that also brought a tear to my eye more than once. And I will never look at a pineapple in the same way again! Book 3 is now on my TBR list.

    • Another awesome book in the Giovanni Clan series (Book 2). Really enjoyed it even though I could have strangled him a number of times for acting the way he did. Can't wait for the next in the series.

    • **3.5 StarsThe story was a bit choppy and rushed at some parts. Ohhbut the scenes with Marco and Elisery HOTTT! I'm looking forward to the next Giovanni story.

    • I love the story but it would make me even happier if they could have a surprise & unexpexted baby like Mimi. Still it is a great as i enjoy it very much. ^_^

    • I fell for this family, the characters grab your heart and pull you in. What a great story of a couple finding love under unusual circumstances.

    • I loved this book! Mama Giovanni was funny. Doris is a great writer and I will definitely be reading more of her books!
